This is what my dad always calls the "yea me" page. I'm just an average guy. I grew up as a "service brat" whose father spent 29 years in the United States Air Force. We moved around the country a great deal, so I understand the problems associated with hauling your family into a new city in an unknown state. My career, prior to becoming a real estate agent, was teaching/coaching. Again, this helped my preparation for this job. I spent 31 years coaching high school basketball and teaching history, government, economics, and English. I am 60 years old and have lived in 35 different homes, so I think that I understand about moving.
I have 4 children: Kris, Kathryn, Kort and Abby. My grown son is serving our country in the US Army and is stationed in Iraq. My talented and lovely eldest daughter works in Los Angeles. The "pups" are at home, aged 10 and 8. They both attend elementary school in San Angelo. My wife, Darla, is the Instructional Specialist at Lincoln Middlge School in San Angelo. My hobbies are reading, golf, and watching my kids do "cool things." So I'm just an average guy who likes kids, 8 irons, and books.
Since becoming a realtor. I have been fairly successful. In 2004, my sales totaled $5.1 million; in 2006, $6.1 million; 2007, $9.1 million. Once again 2008 proved to a good year, totaling 9.0 Million in sales. I have been lucky, but I believe that luck really comes about through hard work and preparation. This is a service industry. Working hard brings results. So I diligently create and utilize systems which serve the people I work for--the "other average guys" out there. Call me and I'll discuss what makes Coldwell Banker the place for "you all" to come back to again and again. Come visit me on my website or my blog, talktoscott.net.
